Modern Iraq Company for Trading Agencies (MICTA) is one of H. Mahmood J. Al-Bunnia and Sons (HMBS) group of companies. HMBS is a diversified enterprise headquartered in Baghdad, Iraq, and has offered services throughout the country continuously since 1910. Since it was founded, HMBS has remained a family business that has gained, held, and strengthened market leadership positions through the family’s strategy of managing its businesses with a long-term, regional perspective. MICTA was established in 2004 and built its technical and professional abilities to meet the requirements of the multinational companies. In 2004 MICTA became the distributor of New Holland in Iraq. In December 2006 MICTA became the sole distributor and dealer for Cummins in Iraq.
